About the Business
Ray, the MD, has a long standing history within the printing industry of Watford. Originally an apprentice at Odhams in the 1970's, he worked at many companies over the years as a colour retoucher, moving on to becoming a well-respected drum scanner operator in the 1980's, forming the successful Regency Scanning with his then partner, Michael Burder. With technology moving on, Ray set up Ray Clarke Design and Print Limited in 1999, providing a pre-press service to the industry, in design, scanning and imagesetting.
In 2005, Sean Clarke joined the Company as the business was moving into the ever-evolving world of digital print technology. Sean takes the role of Creative Director, and with his fresh and innovative ideas, moves RCD on, to continue to offer the competitive, friendly, first-class service that you will find here today.
