About the Business
Doodle & Scribble are my own silly creation and reflect my daft, slightly sarcastic humour, I guess! They sprung to life in my sketch book one day and have continued to spread mischief ever since!
A friend of mine started up their own gardening service in 2013 and I was given the lovely task of developing the branding. Starting with the logo: we developed a simple design with a natural elegance incorporating the blades of grass/tick as a symbol of trust and assurance. Then came the advertising which developed into a vintage style inspired by old gardening manuals with their beautiful illustrations. The purpose of the promotion was to differentiate Sevenoaks Gardening from other similar enterprises, drawing attention to their specialist fruit tree pruning service and labelling them as professional and experienced in this field.
